Our volunteer fire department’s Catfish Fry is a crowd-favorite event that brings neighbors together over crispy, golden fillets cooked fresh by our own volunteers. The smell of seasoned batter and sizzling skillets fills the air as families gather for a generous plate of catfish, hushpuppies, and classic country sides. Laughter and conversation flow just as easily as the tea and lemonade, creating a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere at the station. Every meal served not only satisfies hungry appetites but also supports the equipment, training, and resources needed to keep our small rural community safe.
